By working closely with teachers and staff, the PTA supports Burnt Oak through fundraising, exciting events, and community activities that benefit every child at the school.

How we raise funds

Throughout the year, we host a variety of fun and engaging events to raise vital funds that directly enhance the children’s school experience. Here are just a few of the ways we do it:

Non-Uniform Days
A favourite with both children and parents! For a small donation, pupils can swap their school uniform for their favourite clothes—bringing colour and energy to the school day while supporting fundraising efforts.

Fireworks Night
A highlight of our school calendar! Families and friends gather for an evening of spectacular fireworks, delicious food stalls, and festive fun—all in support of the school.

Ice Cream & Treat Stalls
Who can resist a sweet treat? Our summer ice cream stands and event-day snack stalls offer something for everyone. Every scoop and snack helps us raise money for school projects and activities.

Christmas Fun Morning
A magical morning filled with festive cheer! Children enjoy seasonal arts and crafts, games, and holiday-themed fun—a joyful way to celebrate while supporting the school.

School Disco
Our discos are always a big hit! Pupils get the chance to dance, socialise, and have fun with friends in a safe and lively environment—all while raising funds for school initiatives.

Year 6 Leavers’ Prom
A memorable send-off for our Year 6 pupils! The PTA helps organise a special prom night to celebrate their time at Burnt Oak, complete with music, treats, and unforgettable moments.
